In Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends, Cooking Mama: World Kitchen and Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop, there are a few special sprites for dishes that are far from completed or perfect. Playing on the Let's Cook! mode in Cooking Mama 2 and scoring a Bronze Medal will show the kitchen as ruined, hence the name Ruined Kitchen.
In addition, failing a step in the same mode for both Dinner with Friends, World Kitchen, and Shop and Chop will automatically count a dish's score as zero and will present Ruined Recipes that reflects which step that you messed up in.
