As inconvenient as it is to do this routine everytime, there isn't really any other way for me to address these situations by now. As for this time, I'm sure you'll figure it out by checking the "Images" section. Sorry to bother you again!
That could be fair. This year is quite busy for me in terms of college work, so while the most I can do are updates on Let's Cook and minor touchups, I can still monitor the wiki daily. If I'm lucky, I'll try to upgrade the formatting of certain pages.
Although I won't be really making much use out of an Admin position, I do think it's better than having to be an inconvenience to you over occasional situations. As expected, I will still be focusing on recipes; with the recent contributions I'm seeing so far, I think TomCat is well suited for the other parts of the wiki.
That's fine with me, as long as you are willing to speak to me if for some reason you should come up with any ideas or want to change something on the wiki. But again I trust you, so I'm pretty sure you would consult me for an opinion. It's very important for Admin to stick together on wikia when there are multiple ones.
To be honest, I recently had to send in my 3DS for repairs, so overall, I lost a lot of data from the series in total. Key things I want to try in the future is to improve the description of recipe pages and include a glossary of ingredients/techniques, as well as writing out the steps like a cookbook. Again, it mostly prospective :'(
Hello Chris. Sorry to message to you yet again after however long we last talked. I am writing about another user (again) who is flooding galleries with irrelevant pictures. You should be able to see said pictures on the "Images" link under the "Explore" tab. Lucky for us, this user has a registered username, which shouldn't be too hard to find out.
How have you been lately? I'm still updating info on CMLC, but I lost a bit of data recently from transfering my game to a different phone. I will finish the latest holiday pack after I fix my game back up. Also getting ready for culinary school ;)
Meanwhile I've been okay. I feel bad I haven't been around here as much- especially with how much I love cooking mama and all. I've recently been focusing on my anime due to new seasons coming out, and a new manga I got obsessed with and have been spamming it's abandoned wiki with content for nearly a month now.
I haven't played CMLC for a while due to having to delete it off of my device. Again. It's really sucky and it's at the point where I only have 3 playable games on it, and only 2 work because the one has to update- which I have no room for. I need a new one all together, but with everything else going on... I don't really want to think about it. I'm focused on getting a Switch right now.
Oh wow, that sounds so cool x3 Cooking is a lot of fun, but I'm a little lazy and I don't feel like doing it very often. It's more of a fun little hobby if anything for me. But I wouldn't mind professionally studying sweets making someday~
I like Okami and Smash too. I admit I'm not TOO into the series as I used to be, but I do have the games and I used to play them a lot.
Hello, long time no see! I am writing to you in concern of a Fandom User who has been editing recipe pages by including content that does not correlate to the recipes at all (eg. adding extra steps/ingredients for a Cooking Mama Let's Cook! recipe even though all Let's Cook! recipe are 6-steps only), as well as mislabeling recipe pages with numbers (best seen with Marron Glace, where Hot Dog is lumped together for unknown reasons).
This Fandom User has been ignoring my attempts to explain the invalidity of their edits, and is constantly reupdating the same pages over and over again, which makes it harder for me to restore the pages. I want you to block this person as it is likely that they will continue editing all the recipes for CM4 and Let's Cook! I left the pages unrestored so that you can examine the situation yourself.
I hate to have to respond to you again so soon, and especially while you're busy, but the Fandom User has been returning again to edit pages daily via multiple IP addresses. It is now clear that they are ignoring further warnings and that the edits will be only done within CM4 pages.
It's beyond my power to do anything other than periodically cleaning up the mess that was made, but is there other way you can prevent this from continuing? I'm wondering if there is a way to only allow those with accounts to edit the pages.
Oh no, it's alright, I don't mind when it comes to these situations. Unfortunately all I can do is keep blocking them- because I can't contact wiki staff with this since we can't exactly prove it's the same person each time.
Oh yes, there is a way to do that actually! It requires users to log-in if they want to edit. I hate turning that on but I guess in this case I don't have much of a choice; at least for right now...
Since we're on the subject of Sweet Shop, did you find anything in the game that could have been improved? I really like the game since I bake all the time, but I think it would have been better if the shop section was improved. You're able to sell the sweets, but there doesn't seem to be a reward for earning one million tickets.
I think the best way to improve the shop section is that once you finish a recipe, a certain amount of that sweet will be available to sell (8 Fruit Tartlets for example). Once that number runs out, you'd have to make more of that recipe to restock the sweets. This would make replaying necessary and would make this game more fun in the long run.
I admit, there's really not much reason to replay once you finish XD but at the same time I always replay my old games. I kinda wish the shop section was a little better. I hate that you have to sit there and wait for sales when you could be doing other things.
Meanwhile, when was this confirmed? DX does that mean there won't be more games?
Honestly, I just miss old Mama style when she was a cartoon. Now she is a 3D mess. She has a gigantic head with a tiny neck and long body. The only thing I like is the option to change hairstyles. I wish we had those for the console games.
Hello. There seems to be a Wikia Contributor that has been typing obscenities in the Stamp page. I have removed their edits, but based on their response, it is very likely that this person will return and continue to do the same thing. For future measures, can you please block this user? You can find the IP address in the History section of the page.
There are also two more pages that I would like you to delete immediately. The first one is my blog page on Let's Cook! Facebook recipes, which I no longer need, and the "Pork Rice Bowl" page, whose information is already in "Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl".
Hello. I have been helping out with this wiki for a while, and I would like to point to you some pages in the Category:Candidates for speedy deletion section. All of the pages in that category are spam with no content at all.
If you don't mind, I would like to ask you to delete them while they sit around the wiki. Otherwise, I will continue to edit other pages that needs attention and provide images as usual.
Hello. Today I was taking a look at the wiki and seen that a Wikia Contributor has been adding nonsense, and offensive content to a page. If you take a look at the Sweet Potato page history you will see what I mean.
A lot of Wikia Contributors that do not have a wikia account are sensible, so I kinda think requiring all Users to log in is a little bit unfair, but I think something should be done with the situation.
Hello, welcome to the wiki. Lately I'm a bit on and off of it, so if you have any questions feel free to message me and ask. If you see something another member has done, feel free to contact me about that too.
