Jambalaya is a dish introduced in Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends.

Jambalaya is a well-known Louisiana dish inspired and influenced by Spanish and French cuisine that originated in the Caribbean Islands.

Traditionally, jambalaya is made of three parts mainly of meat and/or vegetables, then added with stock and rice. The most commonly known types of jambalaya are Creole and Cajun.

It is said that the origins of jambalaya can be traced back to the Spanish Paella.
