Bavarois, otherwise known as Bavarian cream, is a dessert similar to the Italian panna cotta. It is made by setting a vanilla cream mixture with gelatin before it is unmolded and served. In this case, this recipe uses two layers: one with cream and the other with edible flowers set in gelatin.
